Our Doodle for Google Art Competition Submissions

Some third-fifth graders chose to participate in the Doodle for Google Art Competition!  The theme for the 25-26 SY was "My superpower is..."

I would say one of many superpowers of our Lafayette students is their creativity!

Thank you for your submissions- Ambra, August, Maia, Eleanor, Abigail, Vivianne, Lucy, Rayna, Lila, Savannah, Natania and Charlotte!  Bravo- Well done!  Google will be making their decisions sometime in May.  

Student Led Mural in the Making!

 A few few fifth grade students have planned, designed and are about to create a mural for a wall space in the basement across from the elevator!  They started with three different drawings incorporating this year's "We are Growing Together" theme and then asked the students to vote on which one they'd like to see on the wall.  Here were the options:

We will be starting to paint the chosen design next week.  Will send pictures of the final results when it's

Third Grade Unit 2 "Outer Space"
